授業の目標   
●この集中講義は、キャリアプログラム「多⽂化社会コーディネーター養成プログラム」の１科目として開講されます。
●開講日時は冬学期中の連続した５日を予定しています。日にちの詳細は、2025年９月頃に改めて連絡します。
●この授業は、「多文化社会コーディネーター」として身につけておくべき基礎的知識を講義形式で提供します。また、当該分野の現場で活躍する方々をゲストスピーカーとしてお招きし、場合によってはワークショップ形式の授業も併せて実施します。
●多文化化が進行中の日本社会では、行政自治体の「多文化共生」施策、ＮＰＯやボランティア団体の市民活動、企業のダイバーシティ・マネジメント等が幅広く展開し、多様な文化的背景や価値観を持つ人びとの活躍がますます期待されています。これらの分野で人びとの協働を促進する「多文化社会コーディネーター」に対する需要の高まりに適切に対処していくことを、この授業は目指しています。
 
Goals of the course   
- This intensive course will be offered as part of the Career Program "Multicultural Society Coordinator Training Program".
- The course will be held on five consecutive days during the Winter Quarter. Details of the dates will be announced around September 2025.
-This course will be held as one of the three core courses under the "Multicultural Society Coordinator Training Program", a part of the cross-disciplinary "Add-on Career Program" at TUFS.
-The course will be composed of lectures and will be workshopped, according to circumstances, by the guest speakers who are on the front line in multicultural environments.
-The end goal of this course is to meet the needs of prospective "Multicultural Society Coordinators", who are expected to promote collaboration among those who are concerned in such different fields as "multicultural policies" in public administration, social movements organized by NPO or volunteer groups, diversity management in the private companies and so on, taking account of the fact that, in Japan, as cultural diversification develops, people of multicultural backgrounds play a more important part than ever.
 
授業の概要   
●冬学期の集中講義として開講します。
●異文化理解・コミュニケーションほか、日本社会の多文化に関わる基礎的な知識を学びます。その際、さまざまな分野の現場で活躍されているゲスト講師から、多文化社会コーディネーションの実践をうかがい、質疑応答を通して理解を深めます。そして最終日には、履修生による口頭発表を実施し、評価を行います。
●いずれも、履修生全員の積極的な参加による双方向性の授業を重視することで、コーディネーション力の養成を目指しています。
●この授業は社会人にも開講されています。
●授業の一部は一般公開されます。
●授業の性格に鑑みて、履修生の上限を20人といたします。この人数を超える履修希望者があった場合には、抽選により履修生を決定します。抽選に際しては、この授業以外のキャリアプログラム「多文化社会コーディネーター養成プログラム」２科目を履修済みの方を優先します。
●授業計画の詳細は2025年秋頃に確定します。その際にこのシラバスの内容を更新します。以下の「授業の計画」には、2024年度冬学期に実施した授業の概要を参考として掲げておきます。
 
Overview of the course   
-This course will be held as an intensive course in the Winter Quarter.
-Students enrolled in this course will learn about cross-cultural understanding and acquire basic knowledge concerning multicultural aspects of the Japanese society.
-The enrolled students will deepen their understanding of the above-mentioned issues by participating in the discussion with the guest speakers, who are active as "Multicultural Society Coordinator" in various fields. Workshops will be held to help the students not only enforce their understanding and insights but also develop their coordination skills.
-At the end of the course, the enrolled students are required to make their oral presentations on the related themes.
-Auditing students are allowed to attend this course.
-Some of the guest speakers' lectures will be open to the public.
-The total number of the enrolled students shall be limited less than 20. In case there shall be more than 20 students who want to take this course, we will have to choose by lot. In this case, priority will be given to the students who have already completed the other two courses within the framework of "Multicultural Society Coordinator Training Program".
-Details of the course plan will be finalized in the fall of 2025. At that time, this syllabus will be updated. The following “Course Plan” includes a summary of course conducted in the Winter Quarter of 2024 for reference.

成績評価の方法・基準   
以下の観点から、総合的かつ公正に評価します。
(1)講義への積極的な参加と討論への建設的な参加(60％)
(2)プレゼンテーション(40%)
 
Grading system for assessment   
Students will be graded by their participation in class activities (60%) and by their oral presentations (40%).

準備学習や事後学習については、担当教員の指示に従ってください。
 
Preview/review   
Students are required to prepare and review the class activities in accordance with the professors' guidance.

●初回の授業には必ず出席してください。ここに出席しない場合は、履修登録を認めません。
●履修生には、毎回の授業への積極的な参加が期待されています。
●最終日に予定されている履修生の口頭発表の準備のために、授業時間以外に履修生どうしの協働作業が求められることがあります。
●上述のとおり、この授業はキャリア・プログラム「多文化社会コーディネーター養成プログラム」の１科目として開講されます。春学期（553001）、秋学期（553002）、冬学期（553004）にそれぞれ開講される「多文化社会コーディネーション研究」計3科目を全て履修するとキャリア・プログラム修了証が授与されます。
 
Notes   
- Attendance at the first class is mandatory. If you do not attend this class, you will not be allowed to enroll in the course.
- Students are expected to actively participate in the class activities.
- Students may be required to work together outside of class hours to prepare for their group presentations scheduled for the final day of the course.
- As mentioned above, this course will be held as one of the three core courses (Code: 553001, 553002 and 553004) within the framework of "Multicultural Society Coordinator Training Program", a part of the cross-disciplinary "Add-on Career Program" at TUFS. A certificate will be conferred to the students who will have obtained credits from all courses.
