Title（English）   
Self-directed Japanese Language Teaching Practicum
 
授業の目標   
・国内外の日本語教育の現場における日本語教育を実践する。
・日本語教育実践に関連する調査研究を行い、成果をまとめる。
 
Goals of the course   
・Practice Japanese language education in domestic or overseas fields.
・Conduct a research or survey related to Japanese language education practices, and write a research essay.
 
授業の概要   
・国内外の日本語教育機関における日本語教育の実践を行う。
・日本語教育の実践中、定期的に活動状況報告書を提出する。
・日本語教育の実践終了後、日本語教育実践報告書を提出する。
・報告会を企画・運営し、報告を行う。
・調査研究の結果をリサーチペーパーとしてまとめる。
 
Overview of the course   
・Engage in Japanese language education at language institutes in Japan or abroad
・Submit activity reports regularly during the Japanese language education practice.
・After completing the Japanese language education practice, submit a report on the practice.
・Plan and organize the debriefing session, and deliver a presentation during the session.
・Write a research essay based on the results of a research or survey.

 ＜アクティブラーニング1＞ 受講者で協力・分担し、日本語教育実践報告会の企画・準備、および運営を行う。（日本語教育実践報告会では各自日本語教育実践に関する報告を行うとともに、自身の立てたリサーチトピックに基づき、その成果に関する発表も行う。）【報告会は翌年度春学期の「日本語教育実践研究1」授業の初回を予定】 Participants will cooperate and share in the planning, preparation, and operartion of the Japanese language education debriefing session. （In the Japanese language education practice debriefing session, each participant will report on their own Japanese language education practice and also make a presentation on the results of their research or survey.）

成績評価の方法・基準   
活動状況報告書（活動中１週間に１回）20％
日本語教育実践報告書（実習終了後１週間以内に提出）30％
報告会における報告・研究発表　20％
アクティブラーニング　30％（ALH1：日本語教育実践報告会の企画・運営 10％, ALH2：リサーチペーパー 20％）
 
Grading system for assessment   
activity reports (submit once a week during the education practice) 20%
Japanese language education practice report (submit within one week after completing the education practice) 30%
practice report and research presentation in the Japanese language education practice debriefing session 20%
ALH 30％ (ALH1 10%, ALH2 20%)
 
事前・事後学習【要する時間の目安】   
事前学習：毎回の教育実践について十分な準備を行う。
事後学習：毎回の教育実践について振り返りを行い、改善点を確認し、次の教育実践に生かす。
（各回の教育実践につき最低2あるいは3時間、実践内容によってそれ以上を要します。）
 
Preview/review   
・Prepare for each educational practece.
・Reflect on each educational practice, identify areas for improvement, and apply the lessons learned to the next educational practice.
(a minimum of 2 or 3 hours for each teaching practice, or more depending on the content of the practice.)
 
履修上の注意   
・この授業で実習を行うことを希望する場合には、春学期に本教員が開講する「日本語教育実践研究1：日本語教育実習の計画と準備」を必ず受講すること。
・国際交流基金の「日本語パートナーズ」の助成を受けて海外で実習を行うことを希望する場合には、上記授業の初回における前年度参加者の報告会に必ず参加する必要がある。

※国際交流基金の「日本語パートナーズ」の助成を受けて実習先に赴く場合には、国際交流基金が指定する派遣前の実施計画書および帰国後の実施報告書等、別途書類提出が必要となります。

※冬学期に実習を行う際には、あらかじめ2月初旬までに以下のものを事前提出してもらいます。
・受入機関との調整に基づく実習計画
・自身の授業計画（実習の目標、内容、学びたい点等具体的に）
・リサーチペーパーの内容・計画・見通しについて
