To be able to define L2 listening

To be able to describe factors that influence L2 listening

To be able to select and adapt appropriate methods for learning, teaching, and assessing L2 listening in one’s own instructional contexts and for specific purposes

To be able to evaluate and critique methods for learning, teaching, and assessing L2 listening

To be able to read research on L2 listening critically

To be able to critique research methodologies in L2 listening
