Title（English）   
Introducing German-English contrastive linguistics
 
授業の目標   
この授業のねらいは、ドイツ語を英語と比較しながら対照言語学の意義や全般的目標を理解することにある。授業で得られた知識や技能は、個別言語研究としてのドイツ語学や英語学だけでなく、ゲルマン語類型論や言語普遍論の専門的な勉強にも生かせるだろう。
 
Goals of the course   
The aim of this course is to understand the significance and general goals of contrastive linguistics by comparing German with English. Knowledge and skills acquired by the course will help you make progress not only in linguistics of German or English as an individual language, but also in Germanic typology as well as the study of language universals.
 
授業の概要   
ドイツの大学で英語学・英米文学専攻学生向けの入門授業で使用されることを想定した教科書（ゆえにその読者はドイツ語の話し手であることが前提になっている）を用い、いくつかの、しかし非常に重要な独英語間の体系的共通性と相違を学ぶ。
 
Overview of the course   
By using a university level textbook published in Germany for students of "Anglistik" (i.e. the study of English language and literature), which thus presupposes its readers to be speakers of German, some selected, but very important commonalities and differences between the systems of German and English will be introduced.

・オンデマンド式の授業。Moodle を使用。Moodle コースへの登録方法等は後日、学務情報システムで通知。
・教科書でグロス（注釈）の付いていないドイツ語の例示にも対応できる程度のドイツ語力（目安として教養外国語であれば 4 単位程度習得済みの水準）が必須
 
Notes   
- This course will be given on-demand on MOE. How to participate in it will be noticed to those who have been registered on "GAKUMU" Information System on time.
- Sufficient knowledge of German (approximately A2 level) will be required in order to understand the German examples given in the textbook without any glosses.
