授業の目標   
世界展開力強化事業COIL型で掲げているテーマのひとつ「ハザード・スタディーズ(震災文 学・災害と防災・原発)」を主軸に、非営利団体の協力のもと、震災後11年経てなお地震・津 波・原発事故と向き合っており、それにさらに2019年の洪水被害も加わった被災地福島の方々 から被災、就業等について学ぶ。
 
Goals of the course   
Based on the theme of "Hazard Studies (Disaster Literature, Disasters, Disaster Prevention, and Nuclear Power)" which is one of the COIL program themes, students will experience learning from Fukushima, the disaster-stricken area including a flood, where 11 years have passed since the earthquake, tsunami and nuclear power plant accident happened.
 
授業の概要   
本授業では、福島の災害を学ぶために、福島とオンラインで接続し、僧侶、農家、原発事故の 啓発活動等を行なっている複数の現地の方々へ主体的に直接インタビューすることで、震災後 11年の現地の状況を理解し学習することを目指す。インタビュー内容は「聞き書き」という手 法により一つの記事にまとめることで、現地の人の置かれた状況、考えの等の理解の深化を促 す。本授業は、非同期と同期のオンライン接続を組み合わせて行う。事前学習は非同期により行 われる。本授業の概要紹介、福島の災害と災害支援、福島の方からのお話、原発事故処理に関 する資料館からの取り組みの説明、インタビュー手法「聞き書き」についての学習を行う。イ ンタビューは同期のオンライン接続により実施される。福島の四人の方々へ、事前に考えた質 問等を行い、交流しながら考えを把握する。その後、同期のオンライン接続により参加者同士 でインタビュー内容を記事にまとめる作業を行う。
 
Overview of the course   
This class aims at understanding current Fukushima after 11 years of the disaster by interviewing several Fukushima residents such as a Buddhist priest, farmers and an activist related to the nuclear powerplant accident. Students summarize the interview result by using one of the interview methods “Kikigaki” to enhance understanding of the current situation of Fukushima and thoughts of an interviewee. This class consists of non-real time and realtime online sessions. Preparatory studies will be held non- realtime. It includes learning sessions of the Fukushima disaster and disaster recovery activities, a story from a Fukushima resident, one of the solutions to deal with the nuclear power plant accident and an interview method "Kikigaki". Interview sessions will be held realtime online. Students conduct the interview with the local residents. Once the interview sessions completed, students summarize the interview articles.

・履修登録
本就業体験科目は世界展開力強化事業COIL型の一環として実施されるため、関連する学生を優 先的に採用する。また、他の世界展開力強化事業の学生も優先的に採用する。定員16名。希望 者が定員を超えた場合、書類選考や面接審査を実施する場合がある。

Notes   
Registration:
As this course is carried out as a part of the COIL program, the related students will be prioritized for registration. It will also give priority to students of other Inter- University Exchange Programs. Enrollment limit is 16. If the number of applicants exceeds 16, a document screening or interview may be conducted.

Schedule:

Each student has to attend all non-realtime sessions during the time when the Winter period starts till Saturday, February 12.
