日本人講師とネイティブ講師の2名が授業を担当する。講師が用意するテキストを用いて、スワヒリ語マクンドゥチ方言の発音や文法の特徴、語彙を習得する。授業では、会話練習や語り（自然発話）の聞き取りも行う。また、外部講師を招いた文化講演では、東アフリカ沿岸地域の「スワヒリ世界」への理解を深める。

The class will be conducted by two lecturers, one Japanese and one native speaker. Using texts prepared by the lecturers, students will learn the pronunciation, grammatical features, and vocabulary of the Makunduchi dialect of Swahili. The course will also include conversation practice and listening to natural speech. Additionally, cultural lectures by guest speakers will enhance students' understanding of the "Swahili world" along the East African coast.

本授業は、アジア・アフリカ言語文化研究所の言語研修（8月25日(月)～9月12日(金)全75時間）として東京（アジア・アフリカ言語文化研究所）で実施される。通常の集中講義とは異なる日程・会場で行われるので、注意のこと。
なお、受講希望者に対するガイダンスを３月初旬又は中旬および４月にアジア・アフリカ言語文化研究所棟3階会議室で実施するので参加すること（履修登録必須要件）。日時詳細は後日学務情報システムのトップページに掲載する。9月卒業予定者は受講しないこと。
※単位互換制度を利用して受講する外部の学生は、必ず単位互換制度の手続きを期限内に完了させること。手続きの詳細は所属大学の教務課で確認すること。
※受講ガイダンスの出席（全員）および単位互換制度手続きの完了（特別聴講学生のみ）が必須となるので注意すること。

This course is offered as a part of the Intensive Language Course (ILC) of the Research Institute for Languages and Cultures of Asia and Africa (ILCAA).
Please read carefully and note the following conditions:
1.The period of the course is from August 25 to September 12 (75 hours in total) and the venue is ILCAA in Tokyo.
2. Students who intend to register for this course must participate in the orientation of ILC, which will be held in the early or middle of March and April 2025.
3. The details of the orientation will be announced on the top page of Information System site (https://gakumu-web1.tufs.ac.jp/portal/) in due course.
4. Participation in this orientation is a prerequisite for your registration.
5. Students who intend to graduate by the end of the 2nd semester of 2025 cannot register for this course.
6. Please make sure that you need to complete the application for the mutual exchange of credits program by the deadline before registration of this course. For more information on the required procedures, please contact the division for educational affairs at your university.
7. Attendance at the orientation is mandatory for all students, and only eligible students are allowed to apply for the exchange of credits program.
