Goals of the course   
The goal of this course is to help students understand the theoretical and practical significance of 'Human Security' and the role it plays in shaping Japan's contemporary foreign policy.
 
授業の概要   
 
Overview of the course   
This course will give students an opportunity to apply their theoretical knowledge in real-world situations through Design Thinking Workshop sessions. For example, students will engage in interactive modules which will include real-life simulations, intensive team-work, analytic and problem-solving workshops.

Individual mini-projects - 30 %

Preview/review   
1) The course is introductory. Students with no prior background in political studies are welcome to join. Students from TUFS' partner universities are welcome too.
2) Expect active interaction with your team and classmates.
3) Attendance will be checked.
4) The course is expected to be held online. Detailed instructions regarding the mode of instruction will be sent by email to the registered students.
5) Printed materials will be distributed at the lectures.
