授業の目標   
中級レベルのラオス語の文章を読むことにより、ラオス語の「聴く・書く・読む・話す」という総合的な理解力の習得を目標とする。
 
Goals of the course   
The goal of this course is to acquire the ability of comprehension for listening, writing, reading and speaking in Lao language by reading intermediate-level Lao materials.
 
授業の概要   
ラオスに関するさまざまなトピックを扱ったテキストを読み、読解力や表現力の向上を図る。具体的には、ラオス語の文章を自然な日本語に翻訳し、新出語彙の練習および内容に関する質疑応答を行い、実力の定着をより確かなものとする。また、ラオス語らしい文章の構成方法を学び、コミュニケーションをはかる場面に応用する姿勢を養う。
 
Overview of the course   
Students improve reading comprehension and the ability of expression by reading texts written about various topics regarding Laos. Translate sentences written in Lao into natural Japanese, practice new vocabulary and have a Q&A session on contents to ensure cultivation of better linguistic ability. Students also learn sentence compositions that have the natural feel of Lao language, thereby cultivating an attitude to apply them to scenes of communication.

成績評価の方法・基準   
授業への積極性（10％）、宿題・課題（10％）、小テスト（20％）、試験（60％）により評価する。


 
Grading system for assessment   
Grades will be based on proactive participation in class (10%), homework & reports on assigned themes(10%), review tests(20%) and term-end exam(60%).
 
事前・事後学習【要する時間の目安】   
受講前は、本文をノートに写し、日本語に訳しておくこと。あらかじめ音読し、疑問点を明らかにしておく。受講後は、教員の指示に従って復習を行うこと。
 
Preview/review   
Students are required to transcribe body text in a notebook and translate it into Japanese before class. Read it aloud and clarify questionable points in advance. They are also required to do after-class reviews in accordance with a teacher's instructions.
 
履修上の注意   
春学期にSLA251R2AXの単位を取得できなかった者への再履修用講義である。
 
Notes   
This is a credit to retake for students who was not able to get the credit of SLA251R2AX in the spring semester.
