Title（English）   
Iranian modern history from the late Qajar to Pahlavi era
 
授業の目標   
７９年のイラン革命から４１年を経て、革命を経験していない世代が中心となり、当時学生であった世代が社会的に引退しつつある今日、今一度、そこへ至った経緯を概観する。
 
Goals of the course   
After 41 years from the Islamic Revolution in Iran, Iranian university students at that time will be almost retired and leading figures are the generation born after the revolution. It is very significant that we make a survey of the processes and history from late 19th century to that revolution.
 
授業の概要   
この講義では、イラン現代史年表（全二巻）を活用しながら、ガージャール朝末からパフラヴィー朝までのイラン内外の情勢と諸外国との関係を年代順に解説を行う。
 
Overview of the course   
Chronology of Iran 1896-1979 (2vols) will be used for the textbook, but this books were written in Persian, we will use the abridged translations in Japanese. The chronology from late 19th century Iran to the Pahlavi era before the Islamic Revolution in 1979 will be explained in this lecture.
