[LOWENSTEIN Marc, Thursday] In this class, we will look at "real world" materials, such as online news and opinion articles, as well as videos (such as news from international English-language news sources, documentary excerpts and/or films, etc.) and have discussions are the content of such articles and videos. Please come to classes prepared to read, watch, listen, think, and discuss. Grades will be based primarily upon in-class writing (quizzes/exams), ALH assignments, and daily participation in discussions.
