日本含むアジア三か国を船で移動し、洋上学習とフィールドワークをつうじて、 地域の現実と課題について集中的に学ぶ。

The objective of this course is to understand global issues reflected in local realities. Students will engage in onboard seminars and field work in three Asian cities (Tokyo, Keelung [Taiwan], and Singapore).

2016年8月15日から8月29にかけて実施。8月16日および17日に東京での実習をおこなったうえで、18日、横浜から船で基隆（台湾） に、さらにシンガポールに寄港。8月29日に実習を終えた後、同日シンガポールから航空機で帰国（30日東京着予定）。船上および寄港地では「ピースボート地球大学」事業の参加者とともに、もっぱら英語で講義をうけ、討議をおこない、フィールドワークに参加する。事前・事後学習として、オンラ イン・セッションへの参加も課される予定。

The course will take place between 15 and 29 August 2016. It begins with a two-day field work in Tokyo on 15 and 16 August. Students will then set sail from Yokohama on 18 August towards Singapore. On the way, the ship will call at Keelung, Taiwan. The course ends with the field work in Singapore on 29 August. The students are expected to be back in Tokyo by 30 August. Onboard Peace Boat, students will join Peace Boat’s Global University students and participate in lectures, discussions, and workshops conducted entirely in English. There will also be online sessions both before and after the programme.
